SLITTING or REDUCING a wall, partition or invisible separation

It is possible to stretch, shorten, or change the direction of a wall, partition, or invisible separation already drawn in your plan using your mouse.

This is for:

- Lengthening a wall

- Shortening a wall

- Changing the direction of a wall

Step-by-step to stretch a wall

Step 1: Select the point

- 1. Go to the 2D view (wall, partition, and limit editing is done only in 2D)

- 2. Select one end of the wall, partition, or separation (a free end or an angle of several walls) 

Step 2: Move the point or angle

- 1. Move the point or angle using the mouse in our plan

Guides are present to help you draw:

- Vertical, horizontal walls, 

- Walls parallel or perpendicular to your existing walls

- and/or find alignments

Tip for greater precision:

Don't try to trace every wall with the correct length. Trace the general shape of your project, you can then edit the length of each wall precisely by clicking on its measurement.
