Outdoors _ Model an INGROUND SWIMMING POOL

This tutorial will show you how to create and customize a swimming pool in Kazaplan, a tool that allows you to model your home in 2D and 3D, including its outdoor areas.

Follow these steps to add a swimming pool to your project:

Step 1: Access the "Build" Menu

1. Open your existing Kazaplan project or create a new one.
2. Click on "Build" in the main menu.

Step 2: Select "Swimming Pool"

1. Once in the "Build" menu, look for the "Swimming Pool" option.
2. Select "Swimming Pool".

Step 3: Create the Pool

1. Once you've selected "Swimming Pool," the pool will be created automatically in your project.
2. Clicking on the pool will reveal tools, including green edges, angles, and a handle.

Step 4: Modify the Pool's Dimensions

1. The pool's edges allow you to change its dimensions. Click on an edge and drag it to stretch or reduce the pool.
2. You can also edit the dimensions of your pool by clicking on them. An editing window will allow you to enter your measurements

Step 5: Modify the Pool's Angles

1. You can also modify the pool's angles. Click on an angle and drag it to change its degree.
2. You can also add a new angle by double-clicking on an edge at the desired location.

Step 6: Rotate the Pool

1. Use the handle to rotate the pool and orient it as you wish.

Step 7: Modify the Pool's Properties

1. Click on the pool in 2D or 3D view to further customize it.
2. In the "Properties" that appear, you can change the position, water depth, and wall thickness of the pool.

Pool Properties:

• Position:

  • Elevation (cm): Corresponds to the pool's height.
  • Depth (cm): Corresponds to the pool's depth.

• Water:

  • Water Depth (cm): Corresponds to the water depth in the pool.
  • Filled: Corresponds to the water depth in the pool (filled).

• Coping:

  • Coping Thickness (cm): Defines the thickness of the coping around the pool.

Tip: Change the material or color of your pool.

It is entirely possible to apply a texture to the provided blue liner of your pool. This is easier with the "fill" option disabled.
