MOVE an object or a piece of furniture from one floor to another

Do you want to move or duplicate an object to another floor of your project?

This is possible thanks to keyboard shortcuts:

Shortcuts on PC:

Copy an item or object	CTRL + C
Paste an item or object	CTRL + V

Shortcuts on MAC:

Copy an item or object	COMMAND + C
Paste an item or object	COMMAND + V

Duplicate an object to another floor

In 2D or 3D view,

1. Select the object to move.

2. Copy it using the shortcut: CTRL + C

3. Change floors using the toolbar.

4. Paste your object using the shortcut: CTRL + V

Your object has been copied to the desired floor.

In 2D or 3D view,

1. Select the object to move.

2. Copy it using the shortcut: CTRL + C

3. Change floors using the toolbar.

4. Paste your object using the shortcut: CTRL + V

5. Return to the previous floor to delete the object if necessary.

Your object has been moved to the desired floor.

NB: we do not (yet) have the CTRL + X keyboard shortcut for "cut"
