To facilitate the design phases, we have implemented new 3D rendering modes: outline and draft. These modes are less demanding on performance, ideal for design.
Presentation of Renderings
1. Outline
- Description: Displays the outline of objects without texture.
- Usage: Ideal for a quick and light view, allowing you to focus on layout and shapes without details.
- Performance: Very light, suitable for all machines.
- Available modes: 3D, Tour, and Front View
2. Draft
- Description: Displays the outline of objects with colors, without texture or shadows.
- Usage: Allows better visualization of colors and layout without overloading with details.
- Performance: Light, suitable for most machines.
- Available modes: 3D, Tour, and Front View
3. Standard
- Description: Displays objects and coatings with textures and shadows.
- Usage: Offers a good compromise between performance and visual quality, adapting to the power of your machine.
- Performance: Variable, depending on the power of your machine.
- Available modes: 3D, Tour, and Front View
4. Premium (see tutorial for more information)
- Description: Available only in room mode and tour mode, it precedes the photorealistic rendering.
- Usage: Provides a detailed view ideal for getting an idea of the final rendering before generating photorealistic renderings.
- Performance: Demanding, requires a powerful machine.
- Available mode: Tour in room mode
How to Switch Modes
- Open your project on Kazaplan.
- Click on the corresponding icon to switch from one graphic level to another.
- Select the desired mode: Outline, Draft, Standard, or Premium (in room + tour mode).
Note: The list of available graphic levels in the mode is automatically updated.
Usage Tips
- Outline and Draft: Use them for the initial design phases to gain fluidity and speed.
- Standard: Use this mode to refine details and have a more realistic view while maintaining good performance.
- Premium: Reserve this mode for final presentations and detailed checks before launching a photorealistic rendering.
Note
The Premium mode is not accessible to low-power machines. Make sure your machine meets the minimum requirements to use this mode.
With these new rendering modes, you can easily optimize your workflow by quickly switching from a light mode to a detailed mode according to your needs and the power of your machine. Take advantage of these tools to design and visualize your projects more efficiently and realistically.
