Would you like to incorporate a frame you already have at home into your model?
Use parametric shapes to customize your decor.
You can apply an image inside a frame.
Step 1: Add the "frame" shape
In 2D as well as 3D:
1. Go to Arrange > Parametric Shapes to use these shapes.
2. Choose either the "round frame" or "square frame" shape according to your needs and place it in your plan.
Step 2: Resize the "frame"
1. Open the frame’s settings panel
- Select the shape by clicking on it.
- Open the settings panel by clicking the gear icon in the contextual menu.
2. Adjust the frame’s dimensions to the desired size
You can adjust its dimensions numerically in the settings panel by editing the fields:
- height
- width
- depth
Tip: In 3D, you can also use the stretch handles to directly adjust the frame's dimensions.
You can also customize:
- frame width
- frame depth
Step 3: Apply an image to your frame
1. Click on the "image" box in the settings panel, and a download window will open.
2. Select your image. Accepted formats are .jpg, .gif, and .png, up to 2500px in size and 1MB in weight.
3. Confirm. The image will then be applied to your frame.
Step 4: Position your frame
- Adjust the frame's position
Method 1: Move the shape in the plan like any other object using your mouse
Method 2: Move it numerically using the settings:
- elevation
- position relative to walls
- position relative to objects
- Rotate or tilt the frame
You can adjust inclinations numerically in the settings panel for these shapes.
Tip: The "ALT" key in both 2D and 3D disables collision between objects.
Your custom frame is now created!
