Have you fallen in love with a tile or parquet flooring that isn't in our catalog?
Use parametric shapes to personalize your decoration.
You can apply an image of this flooring onto a "rug" shape to represent it.
Step 1: Add the "rug" shape to your floor
In 2D, as in 3D:
1. Go to the Arrange > Parametric Shapes menu to access these shapes.
2. Choose the "rug" shape and place it in your plan.
Step 2: Size the "rug" to fit your room
1. Open the parameters panel of the "rug"
- Select the shape by clicking on it.
- Open the parameters panel by clicking on the gear icon in its contextual menu.
2. Adjust the dimensions of the "rug" to fit your room
You can change its dimensions numerically in the parameters panel by editing the fields
- Height
- Width
- Depth
Tip: In 3D, you can also use the stretch handles so it takes up the space of the room.
Step 3: Apply an image to your floor
1. Click on the "image" box in the parameters panel; a download window opens.
2. Select your image. Formats .jpg, .gif, and .png are accepted up to 2500px and a maximum size of 1MB.
3. Confirm. The image is applied to your floor.
4. You can choose whether or not to repeat the image.
Your customized parquet or tile flooring is now modeled.
