Currently, it is not possible to model a triangular partition under a staircase.

Workarounds  

To simulate a partition under a staircase, we recommend using the parametric shapes from the Arrange menu:

- either a panel under each step

- or a vertical triangle under the entire staircase.

Step 1: Position the "rug" shape on your floor

In 2D, as in 3D:

1. Go to the Arrange menu Parametric Shapes to use these shapes.

2. Choose the "panel" or "vertical triangle" shape and place it in your plan. 

Step 2: Size the shape

1. Open the parameters panel

2. Adjust its dimensions 

Step 3: Position your shape

Tip: The "ALT" key allows you to disable collision between objects in both 2D and 3D. Activate it to place the shape under the staircase.
