Outdoors _ Create a FENCE, a FENCING

In Kazaplan, you can customize your garden by adding fences and a gate to create a secure and aesthetic outdoor space.

Follow these steps to add wooden or mesh fences, as well as a gate, to your project:

Create a Fence via Configurable Shapes :

Step 1: Draw the Fence

1. Use the "plan" configurable shape to draw the wooden fence.
2. Place the plan in the desired location.

Step 2: Configure the Fence

After positioning the fence, configure it by specifying its height and thickness according to your preferences.

Depending on the desired final look, you can either:

- Position a panel and a post and then duplicate them regularly along the fence.

- Position a single panel the size of the fence and add posts using the "beam" shape.

Step 3: Apply Wood Texture

1. In the "Materials" menu, select the "Wood" texture.
2. Apply this texture to both sides of the wooden fence you created. This will give the fence the appearance of wood.

Create a Fence via the Wall Tool:

Step 1: Draw the Fence

Use the "Wall" or "Partition" tool from the "Build" menu to draw the mesh fence. Draw the shape of the mesh fence based on the desired location.

Step 2: Configure the Fence

After drawing the fence, configure it by specifying its height and thickness according to your preferences.

Step 3: Apply Mesh Texture

1. In the "Materials" menu, select the "Mesh" texture.
2. Apply this texture to both sides of the mesh fence you created. This will give the fence the appearance of mesh.

Customization Option:

- For added realism, you can add posts at regular intervals by moving them closer to the wall using the ALT key (see screenshot above).

- Posts can be created using the "beam" configurable shape and configuring them to the desired height and depth.

Add a Gate:

Step 1: Access the "Design" Menu

In the "Design" menu, select "Exteriors" > "Gates and Fences."

Step 2: Find a Gate

1. You will find a selection of gates and small gates that you can add to your project.
2. Choose the gate that best suits your design and needs.

Step 3: Customize the Gate

Once you have added the gate to your project, you can move it, adjust its dimensions, and apply textures, just like with other objects in Kazaplan.
