Kazaplan gives you the ability to group and ungroup objects and furniture in your plan.
You can then move, rotate, group, or delete with one click.
Select multiple objects at the same time
The "CTRL" key allows for multiple object selection.
Solution 1:
In 2D or 3D view,
1. Hold down the "CTRL" key
2. Select the objects one by one.
The orange color symbolizes multiple selection.
You can move all selected objects, rotate them, group them, lock them, or delete them.
Solution 2:
In both 2D and 3D views,
1. Hold down the "CTRL" key
2. Define a selection rectangle with the left mouse button held down.
Upon releasing your click, the objects within the area will be selected.
The orange color symbolizes multiple selection.
You can move all selected objects, rotate them, group them, lock them, or delete them.
Group objects
In 2D and 3D,

Select multiple objects at the same time using the "CTRL" key (see the previous point). The orange color symbolizes multiple selection, but the objects are not yet grouped.
- Click the "group" button in the context menu.
Your objects are now grouped. The purple color symbolizes groups of objects.
You can move, rotate, lock, or delete these items with one click.
Edit objects in a group
In 2D and 3D,
here’s how to edit objects within a group:
1. Select the group of objects with one click. A highlight and a purple rotation circle will appear around the group.
2. Select an object within the group with a second click. A highlight and a green rotation circle will appear around the object in the group.
3. Edit your object, you can:
- replace it with another
- open its settings panel
- move it
- duplicate it
- lock it
- delete it
Add objects to a group
In 2D and 3D,
here’s how to add an object to an existing group:
1. Select the group of objects
2. Click the "group" button in the context menu.
3. Click the "add to group" button, represented by a "+".
4. Select the object you want to add.
The object is added to the group, and the purple rotation circle adjusts.
Remove objects from a group
In 2D and 3D,
here’s how to remove an object from a group:
1. Select the group of objects
2. Click the "group" button in the context menu.
3. Click the "remove from group" button, represented by a "-".
4. Select the object you want to remove.
The object is removed from the group, and the purple rotation circle adjusts.
Ungroup objects from a group
In 2D and 3D,
here’s how to ungroup a group of objects:
1. Select the group of objects
2. Click the "group" button in the context menu.
3. Click the "ungroup" button
The objects are ungrouped: the purple rotation circle turns orange, the color of multi-selection.
