You have placed an isolated cabinet from the catalog or modeled a kitchen cabinet set. Know that each cabinet is editable and customizable.
Each cabinet is a composition that you can customize; the "replace with" functionality allows you to replace one cabinet with another.
Step-by-step guide to replace one cabinet with another
Step 1: Select your cabinet
-- Select an isolated cabinet
In 2D, 3D, or front view: click on your cabinet.
A green highlight will appear: your cabinet is selected.
Its context menu will appear with its price and various editing possibilities:
- replace one cabinet with another
- access cabinet properties
- duplicate the cabinet
- lock the cabinet
- delete the cabinet
- access front view

In 2D, 3D, or front view: double-click on your cabinet.
- On the 1st click, the cabinet set is selected.
- On the 2nd click, the cabinet is selected.
A green highlight will appear: your cabinet is selected.
Its context menu will appear with its price and various editing possibilities:
- replace one cabinet with another
- change the direction of the doors
- lock the cabinet
- access cabinet properties
- delete the cabinet
- access front view
--- Solution 2: Selection from the linear context menu
- 1. Select the cabinet set by clicking on it. Click on the "properties" icon in the cabinet's context menu. The settings panel appears on the left side of your screen, showing the list of cabinets it contains.
- 2. Click on the cabinet you want to edit in the cabinet set's list
- the cabinet will be selected in the plan (2D, 3D, or front view)
- the cabinet's settings panel will appear
Tip: In the settings panel, you can navigate from one cabinet to the cabinet set using this cabinet list and the back arrow.
Step 2: Open the "replace with" menu for the cabinet
In 2D, in 3D, as well as in the front view,
-- From the context menu of your cabinet
- Click on the "replace with" button in the context menu of your cabinet
-- From the settings panel of your cabinet
- Click on the "property" menu in the context menu of your cabinet
- Click on the "replace with" menu
-- From the settings panel of your cabinet set
- 1. Select the cabinet set
- 2. Click on "Properties" to open its settings panel
- 3. Click on the "replace with" menu of the cabinet you want to edit
The list of suggested cabinets will appear to replace your cabinet
Step 3: Filter if necessary
Feel free to expand the filters to refine your selection:
- 1. Click on "filters" and make your choices.
The list of filters will be displayed.
- 2. Refine your filter choices
Depending on the types of cabinets, you have filters for:
- -dimensions: width, height, depth
- cabinet type: base cabinet / base cabinet with sink / base cabinet with cooktop
- interior layout: 1 sliding / 1 door / 2 doors ... right / left
- function: appliances
Tip: At any time, you can reset your filters using the "reset" button.
- 3. Click "Apply", and the product catalog will update
Step 4: Select the desired cabinet
- Select the desired cabinet from the catalog.
Use Case: CHANGE THE DIMENSIONS OF A CABINET
- Replace a cabinet with one of smaller width
Filter for cabinets with smaller width, make your choice from the catalog.
The total length of the cabinet set will be reduced.
Note: If the cabinet has an appliance (cooktop or sink), it will be updated to match the new cabinet dimension.
- Replace a cabinet with one of greater width
Filter for cabinets with greater width, make your choice from the catalog.
The total length of the cabinet set will be increased.
Note: If the configuration of your kitchen does not allow for an increase in length: kitchen between two walls, or between two columns: filters for larger dimensions will not be suggested.
Note: If the cabinet has an appliance (cooktop or sink), it will be updated to match the new cabinet dimension.
Use Case: CHANGE THE CABINET ORGANIZATION
The filters "front organization" allow you to customize the cabinet organization and its fronts. You can choose the number of drawers and doors, as well as some interior accessories.
- Change an appliance with another appliance
To change:
- a cooktop with a sink
- a cooktop base cabinet with a cooktop + oven base cabinet
you need to perform a replacement on the cabinet using the "function" filter.
