The side finishes of your kitchen elements consist of cheeks and fillers.
By default, automatic finishing is enabled: it places the cheeks and fillers of your kitchen layouts according to the context.
- If a cheek is needed to finish your layout: it is automatically modeled.
- If you have a wall or another layout, a filler is modeled, and its filler size is adjusted.
But these elements remain fully customizable.
Step by step to modify the finishes of your kitchen layout:
Step 1: Select your furniture layout
In 2D, 3D, or frontal view: click on your furniture layout.
A blue highlight appears: your furniture layout is selected.
Its context menu appears with its price, comfort level, and various editing possibilities:
- access layout properties
- delete the layout
- access frontal view
Step 2: Open the "side finishes" menu of the layout
- 1. Click on the "Properties" icon in the context menu of the layout to open the settings panel.
- 2. Click on "Side Finishes" to open the corresponding menu
The side finishes settings panel appears.
Step 3: Customize your finishes
- 1. Three options to choose from: empty, cheek, or filler
For each side of your kitchen layout, you can choose from 3 options
- option "empty": without cheek or filler
- option with a "cheek"
- option with a "filler",
- an automatic filler dimension is suggested
- the filler dimension remains customizable
- 2. The "Automatic Adding of Cheeks and Fillers" option
This option is enabled by default.
- If you leave this option enabled, cheeks and fillers will be automatically readjusted when needed.
- If you disable this option, the cheeks and fillers defined by you on this layout will be retained.
