FRONTAL VIEW MODE

The front view only allows you to see your kitchen from the front and its measurements.

 

LAUNCH THE "FRONTAL VIEW" MODE

 

To view your kitchen in frontal view, place your camera in front of it, select the cabinet set and click on the frontal view icon:  

 

 

You will then see the navigation bar change to accommodate this new mode: 

 

NAVIGATE BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT FRONTAL VIEWS OF YOUR PROJECT

 

If you want to navigate between the different walls of your kitchen, without leaving the "frontal view" mode, you can click on the arrows of the navigation bar.

 

 

The camera will automatically place itself in front of the wall on which at least one kitchen cabinet is positioned. 

 

MANAGE THE DISPLAY of elements in the frontal view

By clicking on the frontal view icon, in your toolbar, you can choose whether or not to display the elements :

 

 

In the frontal view, you have the option of activating the display of: 

• measurements of your furniture and its surrounding elements (walls, ceilings, openings, ...)
• numbering of the kitchen furniture
• symbols of the household appliances
• kitchen networks
• fronts and doors

 

Measurement options

 

• Cabinet Measures

These are the individual dimensions of each element in your kitchen.

 

• Distance to walls 

This is the distance between your kitchen cabinets and the adjoining walls 

 

• Distance to ceilings and floors

It is the distance between your kitchen cabinets and the ceiling as well as their distance from the floor. 

 

• Cabinet Set

These are the cumulative dimensions of your kitchen cabinets (base units, wall units and columns).

 

• Distance to the openings

This is the distance between the openings (doors, windows, ...) and your cabinet sets. 

 

Kitchen and storage options

 

 

• Display the numbering of the kitchen cabinets

This is the numbering of your cabinets. 

 

 

• Display appliance symbols

These are the pictograms of your appliances. 

 

• Display kitchen networks: 

These are the pictograms of the kitchen networks that you have placed in 2D mode. To learn more, see this tutorial. 

 

 

NB: It is not possible to display these elements simultaneously with the numbering and symbols of the appliance. 

• Display fronts and doors

You can choose to display or not the fronts of your kitchen cabinets by checking/unchecking this option. 

 

 

ADD AN ANNOTATION on a frontal view

You have the possibility to annotate your plan in frontal view. 

 

 

To do so, go to the "Build" menu and click on "Annotations": 

 

 

A text box appears on your frontal view: 

 

 

When you first click on the text box, its ends turn black and the edges turn green. You can then move it and position it wherever you want within the boundary of the frontal view.

 

 

By clicking twice on this text box, the cursor appears and you can add the text of your choice. 

 

 

 

It is possible to add several text boxes. To do so, you will just have to click several times on the "annotation" button. 

 

 

Tip: To delete a text box, simply click on the DELETE key. 

 

CAPTURE A PLAN

You can quickly generate captures of your plan in frontal view.

 

To do this, click on the camera icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. 

To find the capture, you must click on your profile at the top right of the screen then on my media:

 

 

This is your media gallery : it includes automatic and manual captures of all your shots.
