Go to the menu Build, roofs and attics, sloping roofs:

- Select the area to cover: 

Then choose with or without unusable attics, and configure the sections using the arrows:

Start dragging the arrow from the bottom up so that the other section touches the lower section of the plan:

Then bring the last side back as below:

The dotted lines on the 2 sides must be aligned. To do so, click on one of the areas (1 or 2), then, at the height of the dwarf wall, rotate the mouse wheel in order to get a straight line.

Then you can edit the roof overhangs by dragging the points according to your wishes:

 To return to the roof menu once you are on the 2D plan, double click on the dotted lines.
